Clifton Edge is a large, upmarket apartment situated a stone’s throw from Cape Town's most famous and popular beaches; situated opposite the steps to Clifton 1st and 2nd Beach. The double storey apartment has a tasteful nautical theme throughout; with sea blue and light wood decor giving the apartment a lovely holiday feel. The lower level is dedicated to entertaining and easy holiday living with the dining area and the lounge opening onto the large, tiled deck and pool area. The large deck has a swimming pool, dining table for alfresco meals, sun loungers and an impressive sea view along the coast line to Camps Bay. Because of the limited space on Clifton’s crowded slopes, a private swimming pool is a rare luxury. Wake up to sweeping sea views from the main bedroom upstairs. There are two other double bedrooms which share a bathroom. Clifton Edge is in White Cliffs building, a well-known and sought-after block on Clifton’s Victoria Road. The building is secure and guests have access to undercover parking. Clifton Edge is not only close to the Clifton Beaches, but also a couple of minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the restaurants and bars in Camps Bay, or Sea Point and the V & A Waterfront in the other direction.

The beaches are divided into four distinct coves by stretches of granite boulders and, whilst they may not be very imaginatively named, 1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th, their beauty makes names rather superfluous.
The four beaches of Clifton are well protected from the notorious south-easterly and, whilst there is the occasional wave, most simply lap at the shoreline. Staying here often has the added bonus of quiet evenings as the throngs tend to head off just up the road to Camps Bay’s many restaurants, clubs and bars as Clifton offers little in the way of restaurants and has no shops to speak of.
Check in times
This property is only available for a minimum stay of seven nights. Check-in times are normally from 14:00 to 20:00 hrs and check-out is by 10:00 hrs however should the property not be booked on your departure day, understanding your flight may be in the evening, owner will allow you to stay 'till early afternoon.
Getting around
Public transport in South Africa is not as well established as foreign visitors may be accustomed to. While this is constantly being improved, make sure that your transport arrangements are taken care of before you travel, to ensure a stress-free holiday!
If you decide to rent a car, there are many car hire companies from whom luxury to budget cars are available for hire. Or consider hiring a camper for a self-drive vacation or "do" South Africa in a 4-wheel drive vehicle.
Remember that vehicles in South Africa are right hand drive and travel on the left hand side of the road. You will require an international drivers license and a minimum of 5 years experience. Public roads in South Africa are well developed and well sign-posted.
