This charming "Grande Dame" of Camps Bay, originally built in 1920, was the third house ever built in the Town in superb sea front location, has been recently, completely renovated and lovingly furnished with rich Persian carpets, dark woods, overstuffed sofas and pieces of the original furniture. The original sash windows, columns and elegance of this majestic Villa are perfectly combined with all the new modern luxuries to create an elegant but homely atmosphere for up to 10 persons.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms :
The accommodation on the upper level has three bedrooms all en-suite.
The two main bedrooms have king-sized beds, the finest percale linen, ocean views and the added feature of large baths opening up into the bedrooms.
The third bedroom (two singles that, on request, can be made up into a king-sized bed) has its own private patio with views of the sea and mountain as well as a secluded outdoor Victorian bath in the garden!
The downstairs two bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms 1 King size and 1 twin.

Living areas :
The modern open plan, fully equipped kitchen looks through the sitting room with fireplace, to the glass enclosed balcony which can be opened up completely to bring the sea and mountains into the house! The kitchen also leads onto an elegant, air conditioned dining room with beautiful eight-seater Victorian table plus piano! From the dining room you step out onto the pool patio which is perfect for entertaining and dipping into the crystal clear pool which overlooks the sea not 30m away!
Downstairs fully equipped kitchen is separate from a combined sitting and dining room that spills out onto a private patio with sumptuous views.

There is also an outdoor private bath area. Antiques, original artworks, and beautiful vintage furniture from the 1920's are creatively coupled with modern conveniences to make this unique home welcoming and cosy.
Kitchens are modern with all appliances including dishwasher, washing machine and tumbler dryer.

Set against the impressive backdrop of the Twelve Apostles mountain range, Camps Bay beach is one of Cape Town’s largest and most beautiful beaches. Perfect for sunbathing and its open flatness means that team activities like Frisbee and social beach volleyball can also be enjoyed by the more active visitors. The sea, due to Camps Bay’s protected position in the bay, is quite calm and good for swimming. At the southern end, you will find a tidal pool. The northern part is great for surfing.
Fine restaurants and funky cocktail bars.A few metres from the beachfront, the distinctive Theatre on the Bay showcases local and international cabaret, drama and musical performances. Enjoy cool walks along the beach front with open views across the Atlantic, Table Mountain and the bay.

This property is only available for a minimum stay of seven nights. Check-in times are normally from 14:00 to 20:00 hrs and check-out is by 10:00 hrs however should the property not be booked on your departure day, understanding your flight may be in the evening, owner will allow you to stay 'till early afternoon.

Public transport in South Africa is not as well established as foreign visitors may be accustomed to. While this is constantly being improved, make sure that your transport arrangements are taken care of before you travel, to ensure a stress-free holiday!

If you decide to rent a car, there are many car hire companies from whom luxury to budget cars are available for hire. Or consider hiring a camper for a self-drive vacation or "do" South Africa in a 4-wheel drive vehicle.
Remember that vehicles in South Africa are right hand drive and travel on the left hand side of the road. You will require an international drivers license and a minimum of 5 years experience. Public roads in South Africa are well developed and well sign-posted.
