Cape Town City centrally located Vacation Rental and Business travellers, two bedroom self catering apartment Montagu is on the lower floor of a beautifully restored 2 storey Cape Dutch House, dating back to 1851, comprising 5 selfcatering apartments, within substantial walled grounds, protected by excellent security, ensuring privacy, peace of mind & safe parking.

In addition to private verandas and balconies, the five self catering apartments also share a large pool and plenty of communal space to stretch out and enjoy the surroundings.

Downstairs and overlooking the pool, MONTAGU Apartment has two double bedrooms, with a shower bathroom leading off the main bedroom.

The fully equipped kitchen has a double hob, convector microwave and under counter fridge. The kitchen and private verandah, both lead off the dining/living room.

The telephone and networked internet connection are in the main bedroom. Also provided is a satellite TV. Montagu sleeps four, (plus an additional child).

The apartment has its own monitored alarm system.

One parking space is provided within the property.

Full daily service included. Breakfast is available on request from Guest House next door - supplement of R 75 p.p.

Bookings / Payments : Within option expiry date 50 % deposit is required in order to confirm the booking. Balance payment is due 30 days prior to arrival date.
Cancellations and Curtailments by the Client : Once payment is received and a voucher (Booking Confirmation) issued, any amendments or cancellations will incur the following charges:

50 % From date of confirmation, up to 30 days prior to rental commencement period.
100 % less than 29 days prior to commencement or during period.

This property is only available for a minimum stay of three nights. Check-in times are normally from 14:00 to 20:00 hrs and check-out is by 10:00 hrs however should the property not be booked on your departure day, understanding your flight may be in the evening, owner will allow you to stay 'till early afternoon.

Public transport in South Africa is not as well established as foreign visitors may be accustomed to. While this is constantly being improved, make sure that your transport arrangements are taken care of before you travel, to ensure a stress-free holiday!

If you decide to rent a car, there are many car hire companies from whom luxury to budget cars are available for hire. Or consider hiring a camper for a self-drive vacation or "do" South Africa in a 4-wheel drive vehicle.
Remember that vehicles in South Africa are right hand drive and travel on the left hand side of the road. You will require an international drivers license and a minimum of 5 years experience. Public roads in South Africa are well developed and well sign-posted.
