Cape Town - Western Coast

The Western Cape's 'West Coast' has beautiful unspoilt beaches, magnificent mountain ranges, and the most spectacular wild flowers which bloom in the spring. It also houses beautiful restored buildings, like the birthplace of General Jan Smuts, museums, the grave of poet, doctor, novelist and food expert Louis Leipoldt and sites where the Anglo Boer war skirmishes took place.

Dramatic mountains and fertile valleys are planted with vines stretching across rolling fields. Here farmers enjoy perfect conditions and produce some of the best wines in the world.
