Clifton, known as the highlight of Cape Town's glamour spots, is located between Camps Bay and Sea Point on the Atlantic Sea Board.

Camps Bay

Camps Bay is situated behind Table Mountain, between the Twelve Apostles and Lion's Head.

Its long beaches, lined with palm trees, make it one of the most popuar subburbs in Cape Town. It has an extensive selection of holiday accommodation Villas, apartments B & B and luxuory hotels, all offering spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and the mountain. Camps Bay beach is ideal for sun bathing, walking or taking a dip into the Atlantic ocean ( if you can brave the cool waters.. ).

Hout Bay

Hout Bay, named by the Dutch explorers, lies almost halfway between Cape Town and Cape Point.
The wood from Hout Bay was used to help build Cape Town and hence its name 'Wood Bay'.

Formally a fishing village, many Capetonians flock to Hout Bay over the week end in order to partake in the local fish and chips and hopefully to catch a glimps of the Cape seals who have turned the harbour into their home.
